Frequently Asked Questions
Where do sessions take place?
All sessions are held virtually, allowing you to connect from the comfort and privacy of your own space. You'll receive a secure link before your appointment, all you need is a quiet place and a reliable internet connection.
How long is each session and how often will we meet?
Each session is 50 minutes long. Most clients begin by meeting weekly, which helps build momentum and consistency early on. As you progress, we may shift to biweekly sessions based on your needs and goals. We'll figure out a rhythm that works best for you.
How long will I be in counseling?
There's no one-size-fits-all answer. Some clients find meaningful progress in a few months, while others prefer longer-term support. We'll regularly check in on your goals and adjust our work together as needed, you're always in the driver's seat.
How do I get started?
Getting started is simple! Just fill out the contact form and I'll be in touch within one to two business days to schedule a free 15 minute consultation and answer any questions you may have!
Do you accept insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider, meaning I do not bill insurance directly. This means that you will be charged the full session cost at the time of your appointment.
That said, I will provide you with documentation/Superbills, which are itemized receipts you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-pocket reimbursement. Each insurance plan has different reimbursement rates.
How much does a session cost?
Each session is $190. Payment is due at the time of your appointment, and I accept all major forms of credit and debit along with HSA/FSA cards.
I am committed to fostering an inclusive therapy space where clients feel seen, respected, and supported exactly as they are. My practice values diversity, authenticity, and human connection, and welcomes individuals from all identities, backgrounds, and experiences.
You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" of the cost of services before we begin working together. As a private pay practice, I will always be upfront about fees so there are no surprises.
If you ever have questions about costs, please don't hesitate to ask.
